Home Care Assistance

Stroke Care

Home Care Assistance caregivers are equipped with experience and compassion, making life easier for people who have suffered from a life-altering stroke. Providing ongoing one-on-one care, our caregivers offer companionship and assistance with activities of daily living, ambulation, toileting, healthy meal preparation, light housekeeping and more.

Health Monitoring

Home Care Assistance caregivers offer round-the-clock monitoring in the client’s home or in a medical facility. Our caregivers are trained to recognize symptoms that may be indicating a stroke or other medical emergency.

Assistance with Exercise for Mind and Body

Our caregivers are trained to work with speech therapists and physical therapists to assist our clients with regaining clear speech and/or mobility. Home Care Assistance caregivers help to encourage mental and physical exercise in order to help sharpen cognitive function and avoid depression.

Offering Peace of Mind

Home Care Assistance caregivers allow family members to enjoy some much needed relaxation and peace of mind, returning them to the role of a loving family member rather than caregiver, knowing that their loved one is in capable hands. We also offer transportation to appointments, errands, social events and more.

We’re a Phone Call Away!

We are here, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year! One of our staff members are available around the clock to take your call.

“Thank you, Home Care Assistance! My caregiver made a big difference in my long road back to health.” — Mrs. Ida N., Home Care Assistance client
